  I have mixed feelings about Save-A-Lot overall positive ones and they have gotten better over the years. Kind of a low-class grocery store is my general perception "budget off brand Aldi's". If your looking for a quick pick up of produce or a bag of chips or ingredients to make tacos, or something to throw on the grill its a good little stop. If you are doing a full on a grocery trip this place is a little scary for me "half and half should not have a ingredient list anywhere near that long" I find myself saying things like that about many of the products in the store. Just makes me sad that companies feel like they need fill their food with so so much extra stuff just to make it inexpensive. The majority of the people I see in the checkout line are paying with "food stamps card" and let's just say they're not going heavy on the produce aisle. I really wish Save-A-Lot could have higher quality food available for the low-income people of downtown Green Bay that all of our tax dollars are helping to fund.
